Saturday, November 25th, marked three-months since the start of this humanitarian crisis in Myanmar. More than 620,000 people have crossed the border into Bangladesh, at a speed of displacement the world has not witnessed since the Rwandan genocide in 1994. With almost 60% of the refugee population under the age of 18, this is truly a children’s emergency.

Child survivors and their families are sharing their stories so that Canadians will know the unimaginable horrors they have experienced. Children are being killed and maimed. They are witnessing their parents being murdered right in front of them. Women and children are being burnt alive, raped; things we on think will happen in our worst nightmares.
